Jennifer Zhang

Jennifer Zhang is a dynamic Asian American artist whose talents span across acting, directing, screenwriting, music, and digital media. She gained initial recognition through her work on the web series Street Fighter High, where she not only portrayed Juri Han but also served as the executive producer and writer.

Transitioning into filmmaking, Zhang made her directorial debut with The Evil Inside in 2012. Her prominence in the indie film circuit grew with the release of Fetish in 2022, a short film that garnered Oscar qualification and multiple festival accolades. She continued her momentum with projects like Charon and Autopilot in 2023, both of which she directed, wrote, and produced.

Beyond filmmaking, Zhang is an accomplished musician, having released two EPs: the nerdcore-inspired Vs. in 2014 and the pop-centric Escape Emotion in 2017. Her musical prowess is complemented by her skills as a martial artist, enabling her to perform her own stunts in various productions.

Zhang's versatility extends to her involvement with the musical YouTube channel Random Encounters, where she contributed both voice and live-action performances in several productions.

In addition to her creative endeavors, Zhang is the founder of Flying Koi Entertainment, a production company through which she continues to develop and produce content.
