Becerril is the leading writer of horror in Latin America.  She has been called “The Stephen King of Mexico” based on her 35+ horror novels published worldwide and translated into many languages.  She has also directed three feature films, won the Ariel Award for Best Screenplay, and directed numerous hours of television.  Next up Becerril has written the English language horror film "The House on Tifton Lake" starring Vadhir Derbez and produced by Larry Robinson and Matt Stein, the Executive Producer of "Halloween" and "Scream 4"
